Determination, resilience and 600 pieces of fruit

One of our highlights during Term 2 is the annual Junior School Cross Country event with all children participating from Prep to Year 6. Despite the rain and puddles, the kids plunged ahead with determination and resilience, with their fellow House mates and parents cheering them on to cross the finish line!

Once again, the JSPA provided 600 pieces of fruit for the children and staff to help keep energy levels high. This tradition originally started with the generous donation from the Holman family and their fruit business. Once their children moved to Middle School, the JSPA decided to continue providing the fruit at the House Cross Country event and House Athletics in Term 3.

The JSPA would like to thank the JSK community as we are only able to make these contributions because of their generous donations added into the sausage sizzle envelopes.
