Research shows that children who commence school when they are developmentally ready are more likely to thrive in school. This in turn sets them up for further success later in life.
Starting school is a big step for young children. There is a lot of conflicting and anecdotal advice about the right age and the right time for children to start school, but what is ‘school readiness’ anyway? How can you, as a parent, best prepare your children for a successful start to their educational journey?
You are warmly invited to an information session that explores these important questions:
- What is school readiness?
- How can I tell if my child is ‘school ready’?
- What can I do to help?
This valuable session will focus on giving parents insight into the significant milestones prior to school as well as the key indicators of school readiness. Learn more about how the right learning environment can support children during this pivotal time in their development and give them the best chance for success at school into the future.
When: Thursday 18 July, 7.00pm
Where: Carey Baptist Grammar School ELC, Kew (Wrixon Street entrance)
There is no charge for this seminar, but places are limited so please register your attendance on TryBooking.
