JSPA News

The Junior School Parents Association has enjoyed a busy start to the school year. It was great to see so many new and current families attend the Welcome Carnival on Friday 22 February, all enjoying the plenty of fun activities and food options. All new families who attended the festivities were able to meet fellow parents from their child’s year, whether they were relaxing on the hill on their picnic rugs or enjoying their sausages, pizza and ice cream. Children enjoyed the face painting, fake tattoos, and all the exciting rides available on their school grounds. Thank you to the Welcome Carnival Subcommittee, JSPA Committee, Class Reps, Carey Maintenance Team and many members of the Junior School staff who all contributed to the success of this event. We look forward to building on this success in 2020.

The JSPA is delighted to see so many class and year level events happening already in Term 1. From ELC to Year 6, it has been great to see so many parents actively engaging and forming connections with other parents in their child’s year level.
